On the west shore of Joe Pool Lake, Loyd Park covers about 791 acres of native Texas landscape. Centrally located, camping at Loyd Park is conveniently close to the major DFW attractions in a peaceful tree filled setting right on the lake.
Individual campsite sizes are large (avg 1000 sq ft.) and each one has a picnic table and pavilion, grill, fire ring, and more Texas tranquility than you can handle! The Park has 221 individual and group campsites with water, sewer sites, 30-amp and 50-amp service. Along with our camp sites we offer cabins, a luxury historical cabin, the Loyd Park Lodge (sleeps up to 33), and two luxury yurts.
Loyd Park provides you with many recreational activities including a swim beach, boat ramp/ dock, sand volleyball courts, playground, hiking and paddling trails, and canoe and kayak rentals.
