Calling all dino lovers, history buffs and anyone who likes fossils: head to Victoria College for this free and fascinating display of life-size replica fossils. From dinosaurs to ground slots and mammoths, this display has interactive components to help you learn as you marvel in wonder at the size of some of earth’s previous (and maybe a few current!) inhabitants.
  • Connect with nature on the Victoria Paddling Trail. Whether you want a serene solo experience or an adventure the whole family can enjoy, you’ll want to carve out some time for the Victoria Paddling Trail, where you can canoe, kayak or paddleboard along 4.2 miles of the Guadalupe River. Grab your sunscreen and your swimsuit and get ready to enjoy the cool waters along this beautiful stretch of Texas. 
  • Enjoy a cold one at Spoetzl Brewery, home of Shiner Beer. Located near Victoria, Spoetzl Brewery offers tours and tastings as well as a gift shop and more. Founded in 1909, Spoetzl Brewery is a Texas staple and the oldest independent brewery in the state. Don’t miss the live music, lively atmosphere and Texas hospitality offered up at this iconic spot.
