Strawberry Fields Forever: Where to pick your own fruit near Austin

March has officially ushered in warm air and sunshine, and the recent adjustment away from Daylight Savings Time means the days feel longer. It’s spring again in Texas, as evidenced by the flourishing flowers popping up everywhere you look. Easter is on the horizon, summer is just around the corner and the joy and contentment that comes with the season of rebirth is here. One favorite springtime activity for people of all ages is picking fruits and vegetables straight from the earth. There is something undeniably satisfying about plucking berries straight from the bush or vine and eating them on the spot or taking them home and baking them into a sweet creation.
