Head here in mid-April for strawberries by the pound that you pick yourself and then stay for fun activities such as the petting zoo, jump pad, gaga ball and more. • Sweet Berry Farm, Marble Falls– Strawberries are typically available at this spot from March until May and you can pick them at no cost! Simply pay for the strawberries by the pound to bring home and then enjoy getting creative in the kitchen with these sweet berries! While you’re there, you can enjoy a number of other fun activities such as the jump pad and sand art for an additional cost. 

• Jenschke Orchards, Fredericksburg– Stop by this spot at the end of March to pick strawberries and then head back in May for their famed peaches. While you’re there take a spin through the country store to buy some locally-made treats and treasures. 
• Neal’s Berry Farm, Waller– This spot is closer to Houston than Austin but totally worth the drive for the memories you’ll make! You’ll have the opportunity to pick a variety of seasonal fruits and veggies at this spot, including blackberries, peaches and more. Check upon arrival what’s available for the day and get to work loading your baskets with fresh finds straight from the earth. Once you’re done picking, swing into the Farmer’s Market for more great finds.
