Come stay at our new, peaceful, and clean RV park! The land where Peace N Quiet sits was once the site of a Pre-Civil War ghost town. You see, Peace N Quiet used to be inside Centerville, TX which briefly had the honor of being the Henderson county seat. But only for a short while. When the railroad was built through Centerville’s town competitor Mabank instead, Centerville died off, leaving abandoned stores and homes. The land of Peace N Quiet became an overgrown thicket for years until eventually it was reclaimed and farmed. Today, both travelers and long-term RVers come to Peace N Quiet RV to relax, fish, and gaze upon “Old Pappy”, the 200-year-old Oak tree full of history’s tales which keeps watch over the park.
