Plan about an hour to get to the top and an hour to get back down. Hikers who make the trek will find the view of the Frio River from the top well worth the journey.
- Frio Canyon Trail- Those looking for a less-challenging hike will enjoy the Frio Canyon Trail, which is about three miles long. You’ll be able to admire the mountains in the backdrop from all vantage points and can take your time and truly enjoy nature surrounding you.
- Crystal Cave Trail- This hike is another challenging one where hiking shoes are fairly necessary. This tough trail comes with rewards, though, including a great view of Mount Baldy as well as some of the park’s natural wonders. Explore Crystal Cave during your hike for a spectacular look at the wonder of Mother Nature.
