Recently, DFW has welcomed the Peppa Pig Amusement Park (the second in the US and first in Texas) and Malibu Jack’s (the largest indoor amusement park in Texas) and has long-since been home to Billy Bob’s (the world’s largest honky tonk), the Texas State Fair and so much more. DFW will even get a new Universal Studios amusement park in 2026. DFW is undoubtedly an exciting place to be in 2025.

  • Harry Potter ExhibitionFans of all ages can relive their favorite memories from this iconic series at this North Dallas exhibition that runs through January 2026. See some of the most beloved costumes and props from the movies and engage in quests and challenges that will bring Harry Potter and the Wizarding World to life around you. Be prepared to be impressed. 
  • Tianyu Lights FestivalThe Tianyu Lights Festival in Grand Prairie is so magical you have to see it for yourself to believe in the wonder and magnitude of these gorgeous light displays. Koda’s Adventure through the Magical Ocean is lit up in stunning light displays as guests wander through the lighted walkways, stopping to engage in photo ops, live performances and more. Through January 18, 2026. 
  • Bubble Planet, an Immersive ExperiencePopping up at Grapevine Mills Mall through January 31, 2026, Bubble Planet is an immersive experience for the kid in all of us. Guests will journey through 10 themed rooms where they can explore, play and marvel at the wonder and magic of, you guessed it, bubbles! Don’t forget your socks- you’ll need them for the “bubble bath” room!  
  • Game of Thrones ExhibitionHead to the Arlington Museum of Art to check out this incredible collection of costumes and props from the iconic series about ruling families, dragons and white walkers. Fans of the show can relive some of their favorite moments from this riveting book-turned-tv series that brought a fantasy world to life in unforgettable ways. Check it out through April 2026.
