  • Corpus Christi Beachwalk- Another eight-mile stretch of open path, the Corpus Christi Beachwalk is located on North Beach and gives runners, bikers and walkers unparalleled views of the water as they get their exercise on. 
  • Oso Bay Wetlands Preserves Trails- Two miles of scenic trails await visitors at Oso Bay Wetlands Preserves Trails, although visitors should leave their bikes at home, as they are not allowed at this nature preserve. Watch for unique birds and animals as you stroll along this trail, perhaps stopping so the kids can play at the playground. 
  • Schanen Hike & Bike Trail- Just over a mile long, the Schanen Hike & Bike Trail is the perfect spot for an easy mile on foot or bike. This trail connects multiple parks along the path and is wide and paved making it easy to exercise on.
  • Padre Island National Seashore Grasslands Nature Trail- Stroll, bike or jog along two peaceful, picturesque miles of grassland on this trail near Corpus Christi. You’ll see birds and other wildlife in its habitat as you get your heart pumping. Just stay aware- both coyotes and jackrabbits have been known to frequent this popular space.
