Young RVers Take Up the RV Lifestyle

Posted on: April 7th, 2015 by admin No Comments

TrailerPeople may be hesitant to embark in the RV lifestyle because of their age. Feeling too young, many people shy away from the fun, exciting experience RVing has to offer. But the RV industry is open to all ages, and doesn’t exclude younger generations.

RVing has changed over the years, and now RVers are becoming more active. RV parks have begun to incorporate gyms, walking trails and fitness classes into their campgrounds to embrace this change. You’ll often find bike rental stations at RV parks, and with plenty of scenic views and trails, young RVers will have fun exploring the great outdoors.

Statistics show that the fastest-growing group of RV owners is 35 – 44 years old. This is good news for RV parks, as young RVers often spend more on the experience rather than goods. Young travelers take frequent trips and often return to parks. This new surge in younger RV owners has boosted sales for RV parks and campgrounds all around the country.

Whether you’re looking to hook up an RV, rent a cottage or pop a tent, Texas Campgrounds includes parks that offer a variety of sites and campground experiences. Stop by the Texas Campgrounds website to enter your name into a monthly drawing to win a $100 Valero gift card, and to find more information about your next camping destination.
