thousandThis week’s interview features a conversation with Terry Munoz from Thousand Trails RV Resort. Thousand Trails is a corporately owned network of campgrounds across the U.S., with seven locations in Texas. All properties are located on lakes and rivers, which provide plenty of opportunity for family-friendly fun.

The name derives from the original owner in Washington who bought a piece of land and cut trails in it to ride his motorcycle. He added camping sites and the business grew, expanding to other states. Thousand Trails is a unique way to camp and save money doing it. If you’re an avid camper or RVer, check out their Annual Membership Pass. The pass requires an annual fee and gives you year-round camping access to any Thousand Trails property, as well as discounts on cabins, cottages and rentals. Terry Munoz says the pass includes 30 days of free camping and nightly rates as low as $3.

Thousand Trails campgrounds attract Winter Texans and other snowbirds who love to escape the colder seasons. There is also a large population of families at their campgrounds, who seek to spend time in the outdoors and make memories on vacation. Every property features planned activities and abundant wildlife, so there is plenty to do and see.

To find a Thousand Trails property near you, visit their website. Whether you’re looking to hook up an RV, rent a cottage or pop a tent, Texas Campgrounds includes parks that offer a variety of sites and campground experiences. Stop by the Texas Campgrounds website to enter your name into a monthly drawing to win a $100 Valero gift card, and to find more information about your next camping destination.

Are the great outdoors calling your name? Texas Campgrounds is a group of over 400 different RV resorts and campgrounds in the great Lonestar state. With parks offering everything from spacious pull-thru RV sites to fully furnished park model homes, there is a solution for every kind of camper, no matter where you want to go.

Cabins and park models have been receiving a lot of attention lately, with their unique advantages and amenities. If you’re tired of noisy hotel neighbors, kids running down the halls, and not having a sense of peace, consider staying in a park model at one of TACO’s campgrounds. Park models and cabins are usually fully furnished with amenities like cable, Wi-Fi and access to pools and entertainment areas.

With a park model, you’ll have your own unit and your own space to unwind and relax for the weekend, or even the month. Park models are a great solution for campers who don’t yet own an RV, but want to enjoy the experience of camping with friends and family members who do. And if you’re thinking about purchasing an RV, consider staying in a park model for a few months to get a feel of the experience. Ultimately, if RVing is not for you, some parks sell lots and units so guests can enjoy a permanent vacation home.

No matter where you are in your camping experience, TACO has a solution for you. Stop by the Texas Campgrounds website to enter your name into a monthly drawing to win a $100 Valero gift card, and to find more information about your next camping destination.
